Aboard a bejewelled carousel pony, Dita Von Teese was the main attraction yesterday, at the launch of Harvey Nichol's brand new Bristol store.

The burlesque star performed one of her signature routines, which saw her strip from an elaborate crystal bustier and feathered headpiece, down to little more then ballet pumps, nipple tassles and a glittering thong.

The routine was part of a day of celebrations, which saw the department store open its doors for the first time.

Stilt walkers, mime artists, a live band and contortionists added to the circus theme, as customers flocked through the doors with credit cards at the ready.

Dita Von Teese is a hypocrite of the highest order. She campaigned for Peta about fur- then opens for Harrods, the ONLY department store in the UK that still stocks real fur.

My sister went into the new Harvey Nichols store last week and spotted a real fur jacket, So harrods aren't the only ones and i thought they had a No fur policy since 2004. hmm.
