Victoria Beckham to debut dress line

Victoria Beckham will show her first collection of high-end dresses at New York Fashion week.
Although fashion pundits noted that her name was conspicuously absent from the New York schedule, fabsugar.com has confirmed that the Spice Girl will debut the new collection during fashion week, but not on the catwalk.
Instead, Posh will invite top buyers and editors to view the dresses by appointment only.
The collection of dresses is quite a departure from the dVb jeans range, and will have a decidedly upscale starting price of $1,200.
Speaking to WWD earlier this year, Victoria divulged, 'It will be something completely different from what I’ve ever done. I'm just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail. I'm going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries.'

In that case, i think i will apply for a job as a dress designer then. She has had no training and so go away will you. It's pathetic as real designers train for quite some time to become bonafide designers. It aint that easy. No-one can stand her so just who is gonna buy these things ??? A desperate attempt to earn even more money. She couldn't sing so she is trying something else. I think it's time to just be a housewife Vicky and stop dreaming.

So she's talented enough to "design" dresses herself is she? Somehow I think this is a load of twaddle - and just an insult to all the people who slave for years to become bona fide designers. At least the saving grace is that they'll be too small for normal people to wear- scrawny lollipop heads will be the only takers!

I actually like the dress- for a low key luncheon perhaps. She does look like she's ill though. Is her hubby holding her up?

However well the dresses are designed (by someone else!) if they have her name on them who on earth would say they were wearing a Victoria Beckham dress?
