George Clooney single again

Ladies around the world prepare to be excited: George Clooney and his girlfriend Sarah Larson have split up after a year of dating.

Although the actor’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, said, ‘I do not comment on George’s personal life,’ an inside source has told People magazine the pair have gone their separate ways.

Clooney and Larson initially met in Las Vegas nearly four years ago, when Larson, a one-time Fear Factor winner, was a cocktail server at The Whiskey Bar. But it wasn't until the pair met for the second time in June 2007 in Las Vegas that sparks flew.

Larson, 29, and Clooney, 47, made their public debut together at the Venice and Deauville film festivals last September. Later that month, the happy couple were injured in a motorcycle accident.

Larson, 29, became the first-ever date to accompany George to the Oscars earlier this year, and it was recently rumoured that George even planned to end his bachelorhood by proposing.

George denied those rumours at the time and now, it seems, he’s clinging on to singledom for a while longer yet.

Clooney is showing his age, he should settle down with someone in her 40s.

I used to date a man 16 years my senior and although it was lovely, it ultimately didn't work out - he was too immature!
