Josef F granddaughter was sex slave

Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man who imprisoned his daughter for 24 years and fathered seven of her children, is believed to have kept his 19-year-old granddaughter as a sex slave as well.
The suspicion has not yet been confirmed as doctors and detectives have so far been unable to speak to Kerstin, who is in an artificially induced coma and has suffered multiple organ failure, having spent her entire life in the underground dungeon.
The doctor currently treating her, Albert Reiter said: 'She is in a grave condition and it's impossible to interview her because she is unconscious. We have to wait for a later time to make such investigations.'
Fritzl kept his daughter Elisabeth, now 42, underground for 24 years and detectives now fear that as Elisabeth aged, Fritzl turned his attentions to his eldest granddaughter, Kerstin.
Fritzl's lawyer, Rudolph Mayer, spoke to the Daily Telegraph about his client and said: 'He's ashamed. He regrets what he has done. He wants a psychiatric expert to look into his soul. He is ill.'
Dr Mayer revealed that Frizl would plead insanity to the charges brought against him.

God and laws aside, this man deserves nothing, no sympathy, no freedom, no care for the mentally ill. He simply deserves to be locked up in a short cell, chained to the floor to bed for food and air and raped by his fellow inmates until he dies and rids the earth of his polluted mind. A harsh ending to stealing the lives of others and ruining the life of the one he was supposed to nurish is appropriate, no less. It seems that he is only embarrassed that the whole world has found him out, not ashamed (that would imply a concience). He is a monster.

I don't understand why anyone would *want* to be his lawyer, he doesn't deserve the law. He stole his daughters life, his crimes against her are unspeakable. He is a monster, but he is not insane - and yes, I hope the other prisoners get him and his lawyer and he should get what he deserves.

This man is not insane, he may have a personality disorder, but he definately is not mad, HE IS BAD!
How was he able to con so many people for so long? how was he able to keep this second life a secret? I suggest that he knew exactly what he was doing.
He is a highly manipulative individule who is controlling and does not feel other peoples mental or physical pain.
This is his way of trying to manipulate the law in Austria, I hope the psychiatrists see him for what he is... A very wicked man.

vicky: while I don't believe Frizl was insane (his motivations don't seem to be those of an insane person) I'd like to point out that insane doesn't necessarily mean stupid. Though cognitive abilities may be impaired by the disorganization of thought, many insane people are highly "smart, intelligent, educated".

Here's another sick thought. Not only did Elisabeth's first two children have to sit in the same room and watch "Grandpa" beat and screw their mother when they were 4 and 5 years old but they also sat a couple of feet away while blood spilled all over the floor as she gave painful birth to their next sibling.

I think the death penalty is too lenient for this "man" if God doesn't exist. He should be locked up for life in order to experience human justice and reminded of a lifetime in hell if he believes in "God"

It is outrageous that the media today has decided that Kerstin WAS a sex slave just because the police have suggested she MAY have been. Days and days ago the hospital put out a statement to say that they didn't believe she had been sexually molested. You just lose respect for this sensationalism.

Human beings are in fact animals, and animals given the chance will do incest (only some). But they don't know any better.
Also i'm not aware of any animals other than humans that imprison one another.
But aside from that Fritzl knew he was doing wrong and that'll be why he hid her in that dungeon, and yes he should be hung the man has no excuse for these sick acts.

Every detail emerging from this story is more and more horrid. I find it hard even looking at this man's face. I cannot comprehend what he has done is, to say he needs someone to look into his soul I find cheap. He has destroyed the souls of many; why should his soul be saved now that he has been caught?
I hope Elisabeth and her children find some way of overcoming what they have been put through, and receive the love and support they deserve.

how does he even dare to plead insanity when he is intelligent enought to build an under house. no insane person could ever put in there own electricity and wire up the water mains. he has been planning this for a long time before he put his daughter in it. he is smart, to have thought of the under house in the first place, to be able to hide the whole sick second life is a sign of intelligents, and to build a flat (or the so called dungeon) you need to know you diy inside out so you must be educated. SMART, INTELLIGENT, EDUCATED..... that is DEFINATLY not an insane person, he is a sick, evil monster.
other prisoners already want him dead, so why not let them deal with him, the torture that he would go through might make him feel some of the pain he put his daughter throught. the only thing he deserves is cold blood murder not a phychiatric home.

He needs to be locked up in the cellar of his house for the remainder of his days, only then will he undrstand what these kids went through.A prison is a holiday camp for this man and so is a mental institution

This monster is NOT mentally ill. To call him mentally ill is to insult the intelligence of the psychiatric community.
He is evil. He is a pathological sociopath who preys upon the innocent for his own twisted pleasure. He is no different than John Wayne Gacy or Jeffrey Dahmer. Josef Fritzl must be punished for his horrific crimes to the fullest extent of all that is humanly possible.

This monster of a man has severely damaged the lives of his own children and grand children...he is guilty of rape, murder, torture, intimidation, and must be made to be responsible for his actions. Feeling ashamed does not make up for the extreme suffering this horrible person has inflicted on innocent children.
He needs to be imprisoned for the rest of his life at the very least....bread and water should be enough.

This man is not mentally ill he is an animal - in cases like this he should be hung - one child is already dead - he is evil - he is only ashamed now because he has been caught!!!

1- This person is not tobe called human being.
he is animal, even animals don't do this. Even dogs and pigs don't do such a thing
2- His lawyer is trying to prove that he is mentally ill so, to get him free from priosioning.
well, i believe the court should declare him "animal" and when animal go mentally ill. they are shot in the head
for eg. crazy dog is shot in the head or "mad cow" disease.
his punishment should be same. and it should be public. so that no other "such a mentally ill" person think of similar crimes
