Men all over the world can breathe a collective sigh of relief – Kelly Brook has split with fiancé Billy Zane.

The Strictly Come Dancing star is single again after ending her four-year relationship with Hollywood actor Billy.

Kelly – who tellingly appeared at the Baftas without her engagement ring this week – has reportedly been doing a lot of thinking since her father, Ken, died last November after a battle with cancer, and has decided Billy is not the one for her.

Titanic star Billy is now moving back to Los Angeles for good after moving out of their £1 million farmhouse in Kent.

A source told The Sun: 'After much soul-searching, Kelly decided that Billy is not the man she wants to marry and has called off the engagement.

'The split is completely amicable and the decision was made after long conversations here and in the US. They remain good friends.'

The couple had planned to tie the knot in a ceremony at their 600-year-old pad, but Kelly kept putting off the date. Even a romantic Caribbean holiday to St. Barts in January couldn't save the relationship.

The source said: 'When her dad passed away she spent a lot of time mulling over life and decided she was too young to settle down.

'Billy was keen, but she kept delaying plans for the big day. He started asking questions – and they eventually decided to go their separate ways.'

A friend of the actor revealed: 'He was concerned that Kelly was reluctant to name a day for the wedding, but understood she was having a hard time.

'Things haven’t been the same for a while but he never suspected they were going to split up for good.'

A spokesman last night confirmed the split.

Its really sad they broke up!! plus if she thinks she is too young to settle at this age when it is the perfect age for marriage then what does she plan to do?? mess around and settle at the age of 40 then when is the time to have a baby??...it is ridiculous when they use such silly excuses...
