Shoes that grow with your children

Marie Claire News: Inchworm shoes

Mothers around the country will breathe a collective sigh of relief at news that shoes which grow with their children have just gone on sale.

To combat the huge cost of keeping up with children's rapid feet growth, Inchworm shoes have created a new shoe which can be made a full size larger, at the touch of a button.

'This means parents don't have to go back to the shoe shop every few months because their child's feet are growing,' said Peter Craig, Inchworm brand manager for British distributor Fat Shoes Day.

'They are also great for the thousands of kids who have one foot bigger than the other - they could have one shoe set at size 11 and one at 11-and-a-half.'

However, while their parents may be pleased, some of the children in question aren't so pleased about the news. Why? It appears clumpy shoes that grow just aren't cool!
