Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil’s marriage is reportedly on the brink of breakdown – and the rumours have been further fuelled after the singer failed to pay him a visit in jail on his birthday this week, reports The Sun.

The 24-year-old star did not make it to North London’s Pentonville Prison – where Blake is awaiting trial on assault and trial-fixing allegations – for his birthday on Wednesday. Friends say she is living life as a ‘single woman’ but won’t dump Blake while he is still inside.

One source said: ‘Amy does everything she can not to visit. She forgets she is married half the time. There are a few men she is close to and Blake can’t stand it.’

The Rehab star’s dad Mitch reportedly told The Sun last night: ‘It wouldn’t surprise me if Amy and Blake had broken up.’
