How to get into ...

Britney Spears' money issues

Britney Spears out shopping in LA

It seems that working for Britney Spears is a very lucrative business– the star has this week been ordered to pay a whopping $400,000 in lawyers’ fees.

A Los Angeles court ordered the payment to a group of lawyers who have been working on the case for less than three months.

Samuel Ingham, Spears' court-appointed attorney, will continue to receive $10,000 a week, Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled.

And Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of Spears' finances, will receive an advance of $100,000 - he had not been paid since becoming involved in February.

The firm, which won Jamie Spears control of his daughter's affairs, will also be advanced $175,000, and a lawyer representing Britney's brother, Bryan Spears, will get $22,500, while Stacy Phillips, Britney's new divorce lawyer, will receive $75,000.

The singer's father and Wallet remain in control of her affairs until a 31 July hearing.

eg:putting the worst out fit on and running a umbrella through the window of a car(sadly for her that was not then the worlds next olimpic sport)...

You can't help but feel sorry for Britney... She is clearly having a very tough time right now, and comments like she's just an attention seeker aren't very helpful!

i dont think its for attention of that kind at all, if anything its a cry for help. she seems like such a sad and lonely person. working to support your family from a very young age, being pressured to hold the weight of your family's financial problems just because your dad cant manage any of his attempted businesses afloat... that alone...

How can we expect our children to spell correctly when a noted magazine such as Marie Claire posts spelling mistakes such as "uter", "pethetic", "attion" and "olimpic". Do you really feel that it is correct to publish such comments without at least correcting the spelling?
Comment by Mandy Boylett on April 19 12:14

Dear Mandy,

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, due to the number of posts we get to the site it would be impossible to correct all the spellings. In an ideal world, of course, readers' comments would already be written correctly, however, as you have pointed out, this is not always the case. We will, however, take your thoughts on board.

Best wishes,
Carla
