Patsy Kensit will have to get on the phone to Liz Hurley and cancel that bridesmaid request - a spokeswoman for the actress has confirmed she has split from her fiancé, Jeremy Healy.

The Holby City star met DJ Jeremy last August, and the pair were reportedly due to tie the knot this summer, with Patsy's close pal Elizabeth Hurley acting as chief bridesmaid.

But a rep has confirmed the relationship has ended, saying: 'We can confirm that they have split and the decision was mutual.'

The couple first met when she was 16 and in Eighties band Eighth Wonder, and they immediately hit it off when they saw each other again for the first time in years at a party last summer.

Patsy has been married three times before - to Big Audio Dynamite Star Dan Donovan, Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Looks like the fourth wedding will have to wait for a while.

I am not really surprised. She has the " Robbie Williams " syndrome, she cannot commit to someone on a permanent basis.
And we are not going into the " Ulrika Jonson"
syndrome
