Coleen McLoughlin's £3 million French wedding

It's a far cry from her humble Scouse background, but Coleen McLoughlin is determined to have a truly lavish £3 million wedding – on the French Riviera.



Just 60 family and friends will watch them take their vows on the Côte D’Azur — with private jets flying the wedding party across the Channel on 10 June.



After months of agonising, Coleen chose France over Italy, but the actual site remains top secret.



Guests, who include boxer Ricky Hatton and a handful of Man United players and their partners, have been told to clear their diaries from 10 June to 14 June.



It is believed the wedding itself will take place on 12 June — but guests won’t know until the last minute.



The celebrations will involve a themed ball, with guests invited to wear classic black or white, champagne lunches and luxury barbeques.



Coleen will wear a £100,000 gown by New York fashion house and red-carpet favourites, Marchesa.



The wedding costs will partly be covered by Wayne and Coleen’s £2.5 million magazine deal for exclusive coverage of the nuptials — though a portion of the payment is being given to a Liverpool charity.
