How many bubbles in a can of coke?
It may not be the burning question keeping you awake at night, but for one employee at Coca-Cola, finding out the number of bubbles in a can of Coke was imperative.
The Coke representative took it upon himself to find the answer to the $64,000 question after a curious member of the public posted the enquiry on Coca-Cola's interactive information website.
WEDDING DIET TIPS
The geeky member of staff knew that each can is carbonated to 3.75 volumes, meaning there are 1237.5 cubic millilitres of carbon dioxide in every can.
HEALTHY AFTERNOON SNACKS
Using the average diameter of a bubble, he calculated that every can contains a massive 18.9 million bubbles. So next time you're gulping down a Coke, now you know just where those burps are coming from.
