Two new celebrity-clothing lines to launch

Avril Lavigne

The celebrity clothing line phenomenon shows no sign of slowing down, with both Avril Lavigne and Matthew McConaughey announcing yesterday that they would launch own name fashion lines.

Lavigne has signed up with US department store Kohl's, to create a 'junior lifestyle' range entitled Abbey Dawn. In a statement the line is described as mirroring 'Lavigne’s rock style and energy.' It will debut in July this year.

Commenting on the range, the singer added that the range will reflect, 'Basically, everything I wear. I have a very particular style. I actually am the designer. What's really important to me is that everything fits well and is well-made, so I try everything on and approve it all. I want it to be available to a lot of girls, and I want it to be affordable.'

McConaughey meanwhile will launch a range of beach clothing called J.K. Living, which stands for 'Just Keep Living.' To include clothing and beach accessories such as frisbees, the line will go on sale this summer, available from the actor's website, matthewmcconaughey.com.

i love avril shes the best singer in the whole world iv been a fan of her ever since i was in junoir school (17now) i love her sense of fasion its soo cool and wild id love to wear the clothes that she wears its got soo much style and it suits her soo much
