Eminem to publish memoirs

Eminem is set to pen his memoirs and the tell-all book will be published later this year.



The rapper has already started work on the autobiography, entitled Eminem: The Way I Am, which will include unseen photographs of the star, journal notes, hand-drawn art and lyric sketches. More unusual for a celebrity biography is that Eminem will write the narrative and introduction himself.



The work will hit shelves in October and a spokesman from the rapper's publisher, Orion, insisted the book will reveal the truth about the rapper. Ian Preece commented: 'Everyone has their own take on Eminem. Because of where he is from, people think they know where he is at, what kind of person he really is. This book cuts through all that and gets to the source.'



Preece added: 'It has an edge. It'll be one of the books of the year.'

Fantastic news! Eminem is one of those people whose life is a million miles away from my typical 9-5 Monday to Friday grind. The film "8 Mile" depicted a culture I am never likely to experience despite me loving the music, so I am definitely going to be reading this one :)
