Ethan Hawke to be father again

Ethan Hawke is preparing to be a father again - with a woman who is reported to have worked as a nanny for his children with ex-wife, Uma Thurman.

Hawke and is girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes, reportedly met when se worked as a nanny for Maya, 9, and five-year-old son Levon - his two children with ex-wife, Uma Thurman.

'I can confirm and they are thrilled,' states Hawke's rep, Mara Buxbaum. 'No further details will be made available.

Speaking in December 2006 about the joys of fatherhood, Ethan said that his children are 'the greatest pleasure in my life. It's the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure.'

And of sharing parental duties with Uma, with whom he split in 2004 after seven years of marriage, he said: 'We live down the street from each other (in New York). If we lived down the street from each other in Minneapolis, I'd have to watch every car go in and out of the driveway. I'd know how late she stayed out.'
