Charity water in Topshop
If you've been anywhere near Oxford Circus this week, you'll know that the cattle market of Christmas shoppers has arrived.
Caught up in the madding crowd and need a little sustenance to keep you going? Then head into the Topshop flagship store at Oxford Circus (if you're not there already hunting for your work do party dress), where you can pick up a bottle of water and help a charitable cause at the same time.
Buying a bottle of charity: water, at till points will see 100% of the profit go to the charity and just one £10 bottle can provide a person in Africa with clean drinking water for 15 years.
The charity is raising money to help 1.1 billion people who currently have no access to clean drinking water by funding freshwater wells in Africa. So quench your thirst as you do your Christmas shopping - or even pick a bottle up for a friend - it's the perfect stocking filler.
Bottles of charity: water are also stocked in major Topshop stores across the country including Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, York, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin and Leeds.

Things like this make me frustrated. It is a great idea to fund charities in this way but should there really be so much packaging?
Perhaps as an alternative they could offer water bottle refills for a donation to charity; that way they could raise funds and promote re use and recycling at the same time.
