The body odour dating site

Couple

A new website aims to match-make couples via their natural body odour.

ScientificMatch.com - an American portal - asks members to send swabs of DNA to their HQ, which they then analyse to help find them the perfect partner.

Claiming to be the 'only introduction service that creates matches with actual physical chemistry', ScientificMatch.com promises to find you someone with 'a natural odour you'll love, with whom you'd have healthier children and a more satisfying sex life'.

They add: 'The fact is, we love how other people smell when their immune systems are different from ours – they smell sexier.'

The service costs £1,000 and has so far only be launched in Boston, where 39% of the population is single. However, if successful, the owners plan to roll it out across the States.

I'm a bit obessed with smells myself and think you can't beat a man who smells of freshly laundered clothes. Sometimes a man doesn't smell bad but his smell just doesn't make your stomach spin like the aforementioned washing machine. I'd love to try out this swab test!
