28: The almost too French Gerard Depardieu comes out of early retirement to star in Quand j'etais Chanteur (quandjetaischanteur.com), a touching tale of a fading crooner who is given a new lease of life by an encounter with a young single mother (Cecile de France). An utterly charming film.
28: A brilliant opportunity to give your sparkly Mary Janes an outing, the Spitalfields Tea Dance is an East London institution.
