Can’t get started? These tips should help you with the most common problems.
Why do I unable to click on the link in the service message that I received from 80880?
a The link to Marie Claire in the text message you received should be underlined. Highlight it using the up/down controls on your handset and activate it by pressing your ‘OK’ or “Go To” button. On some mobiles, the link won’t be underlined – use the ‘find’ option in your mobile’s SMS menu to locate it.
b Your connection to your network provider could be temporarily interrupted or you may have configured your WAP or Internet settings incorrectly. Please ensure that the WAP or Internet settings are correct by referring to the Connection Settings below or by contacting your network service provider.
c Your SMS text options may not be enabled or you are having other problems with your SMS settings. Please check with your device manufacturer for this issue.
Why haven’t I received any response from 80880 after I have sent my request to them? Please verify that you have typed the keyword MC and sent it to the correct number 80880. Why did the Marie Claire magazine would not download?

Why the downloading for Marie Claire Mobile application did not complete or hang halfway through?
There could be several reasons why Marie Claire is not downloading:
a. Your mobile does not have enough memory available for Marie Claire Mobile. You can try deleting old text messages or photos to free up space.
b You don’t have enough data credit left or your data allowance is not sufficient for you to download Marie Claire Mobile. Please check with your network provider.
cCheck your WAP and Internet settings are correct. Please refer to Connection Settings.
d If you are not a user of Nokia smartphone then you should check your Java settings.

I have downloaded Marie Claire Mobile but nothing happens after that?
aMarie Claire Mobile may launch automatically after you have downloaded it. If it does not, you may locate this application under different areas on different mobile devices. You may locate it either in one of these folders; Applications, Games, Collection, Javaworld, Java or My Own.
b You may need to check that your Internet settings are correct. You may check the Connection Settings below or by contacting your network service provider.
Why can’t I find Marie Claire Mobile on my mobile menu?
Marie Claire Mobile saves in different areas on different phones. You may locate it either in one of these folders; Applications, Games, Collection, Javaworld, Java or My Own.
Nokia 6600 browser is unable to download the '.sis-file'. The error message "Services unable to perform operation"is displayed. What should I do?
This is a bug of the Nokia 6600 browser in firmware version 3.42.1. (You can check your phone's firmware version using the code *#0000#.) This error occurs occasionally if you have several applications open and try to download large *.sis files. The 'DocumentHandler' saves the file to d:\system\temp and there is not enough space, causing the error. The bug was corrected in firmware version 4.09.1. Please refer to your phone manufacturer for the firmware upgrade.
I cancelled the installation process while it was halfway through and I can see the Marie Claire icon on main menu but nothing happens when I click on the icon. The program/icon cannot be removed either because it does not show up under the Phone Manager. What can I do?
Please retry the installation process and let it complete. Then only it can be removed from the Phone Manager.
My phone hangs whilst downloading new content that is available on the server. What should I do?
Please check your connection settings to ensure that they have been configured correctly. If the settings are configured correctly, reinstall the Performer application.
How do I reinstall Performer application?
You can do that by texting "MC" to 80880 again or you can refer to your handset manual.
I received "Application error" or "Memory Full" message while installing Performer. What can I do?
This problem seems to have been fixed by our development team but should it occurs again, please remove your memory card from the device and reinstall Performer.
