Katie Holmes runs New York marathon

YOU MAY NOT have even known she was in training, but Katie Holmes ran and completed the New York marathon yesterday.

The actress succeeded in staying fairly anonymous as she pounded the 26.2 miles around the city.

Dressed in a baseball cap and a purple vest top (where's the sports bra Katie?), the 28-year-old was met at the finish line by hubby Tom Cruise, their daughter Suri along with Katie's parents and Tom's mother.

The star completed the race in 5 hours and 30 minutes and admitted afterwards: 'I'm good, but I'm feeling very tired.'
