London Paralympics 2012 opening ceremony
The London 2012 Paralympics kicked off with another spectacular opening ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. The theme of the two-and-a-half hour production was science and enlightment, to highlight how far the world has come in acknowledging and changing attitudes towards disability.
