Paralympics: Team GB's Ones To Watch
Thursday 30th August 2012
As the London Paralympics kick off, we run through the brightest stars to cheer for in Team GB
Jonnie Peacock
Event: Sprinting
Age: 19
When he was just five Jonnie was struck down by meningitis and his right leg had to be amputated. Fast forward to 2012 and Jonnie is now the fastest amputee sprinter in the world, and just last month he smashed Oscar Pistorius's 100 metres world record at the US Paralympic trials in Indianapolis. We're desperate to cheer him on to a gold medal at the London Paralympics.
