Notting Hill Carnival
If you're in London over the Bank Holiday the sights and sounds of the Notting Hill Carnival will no doubt draw you in. Every year Europe's biggest street party winds, grinds and shakes its way through the streets in West London. Watch the costumed dancers do their thang and indulge in some of the delicious street food as Notting Hill comes alive. Sunday is the more family-friendly of the two-day spectacular with a shorter parade and a generally more chilled crowd. On the Monday the Red Bull Music Academy are throwing a party with a load of great acts performing including the Grammy Award-winning Sean Paul.
