Tunnels along the Gaza-Egypt border
Friday, October 5th. A man is seen climbing out of a tunnel along the Gaza-Egypt border. In the past month the Egyptian military have destroyed about 30 tunnels and blocked many more. The tunnels are used for smuggling goods to and from the Gaza Strip. They are a vital lifeline for supplies of food, clothes, building materials and fuel into the Palestinian territory, the subject of an israeli blockade since 2006
