Next time you pick up a bottle of red, pat yourself on the back safe in the knowledge you're doing your bit for the planet.
How so? You need to be drinking African Dawn wine, sold exclusively via the World Wildlife Fund's website. Funds from the wines, which include a cabernet sauvignon, a shiraz and a Cape red, go towards WWF's Cork Oak Landscapes Programme in the Mediterranean.
If that wasn't enough, all the bottles are made from recycled glass, the labels from recycled paper and all the wine is shipped in bulk to Germany before being bottled to reduce carbon dioxide emissions caused by shipping ready-bottled wine. Phew!
