Yahoo employees who work remotely received memo saying they needed to be back in the office
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has rolled out a new rule to her employees - if you work remotely you must be back working in the office from June.
Workers received an internal memo from head of HR Jackie Reses, which reads: 'Speed and quality are often sacrificed when we work from home.
'We need to be one Yahoo!, and that starts with physically being together.'
Originally it was thought this would only impact on a few employees, primarily customer service reps who work from home full time.
However numerous sources say this extends to staffers who work from home for one or two days a week.
This has caused controversy, with some arguing it is doing litte to help working mothers and boost company morale.
