THIS IS A MARIE CLAIRE ADVERTORIAL

Marie Claire editor Trish Halpin was joined by Holly Willoughby, Balance Me co-founder Rebecca Hopkins and jewellery designer Bec Clarke for an intimate Marie Claire @work with Windows Phone event on the importance of maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

With its panoramic views of the dramatic London skyline, the tenth floor boardroom at MC HQ was the perfect setting for the four inspirational ladies to join dozens of our readers for a special afternoon supporting women at work.

After posing for pictures and mingling with our champagne sipping, well heeled guests, Holly, Rebecca, Bec and Trish took their seats in the plush theatre for a laid-back chat on the importance of maintaining a career and happy home life.

Discussing everything from juggling mummy duties with building a business, to the joy of switching off at night with a glass of wine, to relying on technology and how useful their Windows Phone is, the witty women shared their tips for success and answered the audiences own savvy questions.

Holly's favourite tips for maintaining a good work/life balance were to ensure she was home at 5.30pm no matter what and also to bike or taxi around London so she didn't lose precious time stuck in traffic. All three women also praised their smartphones which definitely helped them to manage schedules, emails, etc. more effectively!

Not only did guests walk away inspired and encouraged, they also nabbed an awesome goody bag worth over £50 - with treats including a Windows Phone mini-speaker, Balance Me skin bright hydrating face mist, Popchips, a novel from Harper Collins and Marie Claire's April issue.
