The Wedding of Kate Moss & Jamie Hince
The wait is finally over! Beautiful bride Kate Moss set off for the church in the pretty Cotswold villiage of Little Farringdon to marry Jamie Hince on Friday afternoon, giving waiting fashionistas the very first glimpse of her beautiful custom-made John Galliano wedding dress. The beaming model rode to the church in her favourite silver Rolls Royce, accompanied by daughter Lila Grace and dad Peter.
Miss Moss’s kept onlookers waiting for a full-length shot of her gorgeous wedding gown, but we were able to sneak the first peek at the oh-so-pretty vintage-style dress through the window of her wedding car.
Keeping her wedding day make-up to a minimum, Kate let her natural beauty shine through, with a barely there dust of colour and a smudged smokey eye. Following the bride, a convoy of six Rolls Royces’ and several sleek Mercedes’ carried the bridesmaids to the ceremony. Meanwhile, guests had already begun to congretate at the church, where a red carpet was been laid out. Naomi was one of the first to arrive, wearing Givenchy, followed by Bryan Ferry in Gucci, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Philip Treacy, Sadie Frost and Daphne Guiness.
Here comes the bride! The new Mr and Mrs Hince faced the cameras following their wedding at St Peter’s Church in Little Faringdon in the Cotswolds. And how stunning does the former Miss Moss look…
Kate wore a breathtaking sheer gown, embellished with gold sequins and beading, designed by close friend John Galliano. Her new husband donned a Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati sky blue double-breasted suit with slim fit trousers.
Kate was accompanied down the aisle by a maid of honour and fourteen impossibly cute bridesmaids, including her daughter, Lila Grace. The super-sweet line-up were dressed in flowing silk dresses, with Pretty Ballerina pumps.
Kate brought in an industry dream team for her hair and make-up, with super stylist Sam McKnight tending to her tresses and make-up artist to the stars, Charlotte Tilbury, creating her radiant, fresh-faced look.
Kate’s delicate veil featured intricate floral embroidery for a vintage look.
The happy couple treated the waiting cameras to a kiss.
Following their wedding day, the celebrations are expected to extend into three days of festivities, taking place at Kate’s nearby home.
To thank villagers for putting up with their wedding interruptions, the generous bride and broom sent local residents each a bottle of Moet champagne, with the message: ‘Thank you for all your patience and understanding! Lots of love Jamie and Kate.’

Kate Moss finally tied the knot with rocker, Jamie Hince.
It’s the happy couple! The night before becoming Mr and Mrs Hince, Kate and Jamie happily posed for the waiting cameras outside The Swan pub in the Cotswolds village of Southrop. With only a few hours left until the nuptials, wedding-day rumours – on everything from the dress to bridesmaids and best men – have been wildly circulating.
The couple arrived at the pub for dinner with friends, following their wedding rehearsal at the nearby St Peter ‘s parish church in the village.
Ms Moss got her something blue out of the way early, rocking a Seventies style retro dress with full bell sleeves, teamed with aqua heeled boots. Her beau coordinated in a navy jacket.
In one of the few times they have happily posed publicly as a couple, the bride and groom-to-be looked blissfully loved as they prepared for their big day.
The couple were joined by close friend Sadie Frost and her daughter Iris, who is set to be a bridesmaid alongside Kate’s little girl, Lila.
At the wedding rehearsal on Thursday afternoon, a school boy choir was spotted practicing for the big day.
Jamie’s best woman, bandmate Alison Mosshart, was on hand for rehearsals, before joining the wedding party dinner in the local village.
One of Kate’s oldest friends, hairdresser James Brown, arrived ready to tend the bride’s tresses for her big day.
Preparations were in full swing by Thursday, with flowers arriving by the van load.
In what promises must be one of the coolest weddings of the year, and, in fact, all time, Kate Moss will married her Kills rocker beau Jamie Hince in a glittering ceremony on Friday 1 July. Already being dubbed Mosstock, stars of catwalk, runway and screen attended the couples epic, £1 million nuptials, in the pretty Gloucestershire countryside.
Kate and Jamie will tied the knot in church in the beautiful Cotswold village of Little Farringdon, where Kate has recently renovated her luxurious £2 million home. It’s thought around 300 guests celebrated the couple’s nuptials in the pad’s sprawling gardens, surrounded by uber-tight security. A police cordon protected the area around the Gloucestershire estate on the day, and guests were asked to leave their cameras outside for the duration of the wedding.
They’re tipped to be some of the most rock and roll nuptials we’ve ever seen, so we’re not surprised to hear Kate and Jamie chose to do a few things differently. Shunning tradition, the groom chose to have a best woman, rather than a best man – none other than his Kills bandmate Aliston Mossheart. It’s thought the female guitarist organised Jamie’s stag do, and was also tasked with taking charge of the rings, and making a speech at the reception.
With such a star-studded friendship group, Kate and Jamie’s guest list read like a who’s who of catwalk stage and screen. Top of the list were fellow model Naomi Campbell, American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Sadie Frost, Jude Law, Stella McCartney, Beth Ditto, Bobbie Gilespie, Meg Matthews and Jamie’s Kills bandmates. Phew.
Formalities over, Kate and Jamie planned a mighty, £1 million celebration, in what is already being dubbed ‘Mosstock’ by locals. Miss Moss and her hubby-to-be reportedly set their heart on a festival theme, with workers spied erecing several marquees in the garden of Kate’s country home.
No wedding ‘do is complete without some evening entertainment, and lucky Kate and Jamie have a whole host of famous pals to choose from. Rumour has it the newlyweds enjoyed performances by Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto, rapper Snoop Dogg, Shirley Bassey and Bryan Ferry. Now that’s Rock ‘n Roll.
It’s thought Kate and Jamie’s festival reception featured a host of marquees, each decked out in a different theme. Rumour has it the lucky couple instructed organisers to recreate their favourite London members lounge the Groucho Club in one, which insiders say will feature ‘leather sofas, wooden furniture, dark panelling and flowers.’
In another marquee, it’s thought Miss Moss had a treat in store for her girly pals, arranging a dressing room full of vintage Ossie Clark dresses for them to change into in the evening. Rumour has it the model has arranged for some of her iconic modelling pictures to be hung around the tents, and even comissioned bespoke bunting made of skulls, flowers and photos.
No wedding would be complete without a lavish meal, and Kate and Jamie’s was certainly be no different. Rumour has it the happy couple enlisted the services of two top chefs to prepare nibbles, tasty treats and a sit down meal during the evening, while cocktails have been specially-created for the celebration, based on those served at her favourite hotel, the Jamaica Inn in the Caribbean. Guests also enjoyed a constant flow of Cristal champagne throughout the evening, as well as a six-tiered wedding cake for dessert. Yum.
Yes they were beautiful, but Kate and Jamie’s lavish country nuptials didn’t come cheap – it’s thought the pair splashed out an eye watering £1 million on their special day. And next up comes the honeymoon. The pair were picked up by helicopter from their country pad, with Kate showing off her style credentials once again, in a chic Stella McCartney suit. It’s thought the newlyweds could jet off to Thailand or Africa to tour and soak up the sun.
