Including the highest and lowest earning areas

If you've ever thought that where you live affects your lifestyle, you're 100% right.

We already know that Oxford was named the most unaffordable city in the UK and it makes sense that your post code reflects your salary but does that mean that Oxford jobs pay more?

Nope, not necessarily, as London has still come out on top according to research from Instant Offices that exposes a list in descending order of the average monthly salary of people living in a specific area.

Obviously these averages don't take student loan, debt and taxes into consideration - nor do they take the cost of living in said city into consideration either so take it all with a pinch of salt, obviously.

Considering this is the optimum salary you should be earning for your happiness, it might be time to consider how to save money and maybe even venture out of your own career to reach that goal.

FYI, these are the average salaries that 100 UK careers pay and how much fashion jobs actually pay which is all pretty eye-opening considering that we live in a culture where openly talking about your salary can be frowned upon.

So, without further adieu, here are the results...
