Where? Miller Harris, 21 Bruton Street, London W1J 6QD (020 7629 7750, www.millerharris.com)

I thought Miller Harris sold perfumes and soaps? That they do my friend, that they do, but if you turn left upon entering the sweet-smelling apothecary on Bruton Street, rather than running straight for the scented candles, you'll discover a chic little tea room filled with treats.

One assumes there's no builder's brew on the menu? You assume right. Rather than your average PG Tips, there are six 'fragrant teas' to choose from, including Thé Violette, Thé Bergamot and, my personal favourite, Thé Pétales - a delectable mix of geranium, Turkish rose and white tip Oolong.

Anything stronger? If you're there between Wednesday and Saturday, opt for the delicious, limited-edition Miller Harris and Ruinart Champagne Tea, £19, including a glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, a pot of tea and a plate of sweet little cakes, including peach friands and lemon meringue cupcakes. Beware though, a sugar high is guaranteed, which can make resisting all the bath oils on the way out nigh on impossible.

Need to know? If any of the teas really take your fancy, all are available to buy and take home, while for those of you who don't live in London, but don't want to miss out, all the teas can also be bought online at www.millerharris.com.
