Bella Hadid is literally all of us

Plus, the meme that we can all relate to

We've all been in a similar scenario: you've just broken up with your ex, you both get invited to the same party, your imagination churns out revenge fantasies of you making one hell of an entrance, leaving your ex dumbstruck, devastated even, by your radiance and poise - or something to that effect.

Bella Hadid just lived this dream IRL when she took to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016 catwalk looking like an absolute knockout as her ex The Weeknd, who was supposed to be serenading the crowd, couldn't take his eyes off her.

The moment has spawned many memes, but is best summed up with this:

Is a reunion on the cards? Stay tuned...

Break-ups are hard. They're all encompassing and the grief literally takes over your mental space for weeks, months, and sometimes even years, so it's not hard to see why Bella Hadid was caught looking at old photos of her and former love, Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) while on the plane to Paris for the Victoria Secret show.

And as if by fate, the pair bumped into each other the very next day at Hôtel Costes in Paris where The Weeknd was dining in-between his Paris tour. Their split was reportedly down to misaligning schedules and since this year will see Bella walk down the Victoria's Secret runway for the first time, we imagine her time is about to get a whole lot busier.

The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have split: ‘They still have a great deal of love for one another’

The Weeknd (né Abel Tesfaye) and Bella Hadid are going their separate ways. The couple has split after a year and half together, PEOPLE has learned.

'Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album,' a source confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. 'They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.'

A rep for the Weeknd had no comment. A rep for Hadid did not immediately respond to request for comment.

The Starboy hitmaker, a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye, 25, and the model, 20, were first linked together in April 2015 when he asked her to be in the artwork for his album, Beauty Behind the Madness. Hadid also starred in The Weeknd’s music video for his single, In the Night.

Hadid and The Weeknd’s relationship was confirmed when they made their red carpet debut together at the 2016 Grammys. 'It was a big night for him, Hadid told Glamour over the summer. 'He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy.'

Hadid added, 'I’m dating Abel. I don’t see him as The Weeknd. I’m proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel.'

Most recently, the pair was seen vacationing together in Tokyo in October. The Weeknd’s new album, Starboy, will be released Nov. 25. Hadid is currently preparing to walk in her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing Dec. 5 on CBS.
