This is the UK's biggest first date turn-off, apparently

Aka, what NOT to do on a first date

Aka, what NOT to do on a first date

The UK's biggest dating turn-offs have been revealed, and we're pretty sure you'll find the list very relatable.

EnduraRoses.com conducted a study of 2,000 UK adults to find out what we love to hate when it comes to first dates. The results revealed that we hate awkward silences, lack of conversation and bad manners, to name just a few.

Having your phone out is also a major turn off, which isn't surprising considering this percentage of Brits admit technology is affecting their relationship.

In at number one, though? Bad and distasteful jokes.

Awais Babar, managing director at Endura Roses said: 'dating can be an obstacle course of dos and don'ts, with the research showing what can end a successful occasion.

'Avoiding questionable humour, having plenty to say and turning off technology will put any romantic hopeful in good stead.'
