Cue pastry overload...

When it comes to the winter months, our Christmas traditions are largely about food - some people are obsessed with Yule Log, others are strictly on team stollen and there are some who prefer good old fashioned ginger bread. But what if you can't pick?

Well, if you're an indecisive eater and can't settle on a favourite festive baked food, it looks like you're in luck because thanks to this high street bakery chain, you won't have to...

Introducing the new pastry hybrid - mince pie croissants - the perfect if slightly untraditional addition to the most wonderful time of the year.

This is not a drill. We repeat, this is not a drill.

Paul

The Croissant Nicholas (yes, really) is part of the new Christmas range from high street bakery chain, Paul, and involves filling the French flaky butter delicacy with British mincemeat to create a delicious hybrid.

Mince pie croissants are now available online and will be available to buy in-store from 28th November - so put that date in your diaries!

If you'll excuse us, we're off to eat our body weight in mince meat and pastry flakes.
