Sweet dreams are made of brie (sorry)

Sweet dreams are made of brie (sorry)

For everyone whose mouth waters at the thought of a cheese toastie, or anyone who has seriously considered swapping a traditional sponge wedding cake for a tower of cheeses, then this one is for you - a two-day cheese festival is coming to the capital next month and it looks epic.

Now that there is solid proof that it has multiple health benefits, we can spend an entire weekend sampling the crème de la crème of cheeses, and it will all be in the name of wellness (sort of).

The event will be held at the gorgeously historic Geffrye Museum in East London, and the grounds will be an absolute dairy heaven created by Mathew Carver, the man behind The Cheese Bar and the London Cheese Project.

Whether you're a feta fanatic or a mozzarella maniac, cheese lovers will be uniting to sink their teeth into offerings from up and coming cheesemakers and mongers, with street food from the Raclette Brothers, Mac Factory and The Cheese Truck.

Expect 'cheese nirvana', with promises of 'gloriously gooey food, from grilled cheese sandwiches to raclette and fondue.'

If your mouth is already watering, you are not alone. Find out more about the festival and get your tickets here before they sell out.

The London Cheese Project Festival takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November from 11am - 8pm at the Geffrye Museum, with entry costing just £4. Bargain.

As well as eating as much cheese as your heart desires, there will also be wine, live music, pop-up events, talks and demonstrations.

Sounds pretty gouda to me.
