As famous for her sex symbol status as for her film roles, American actress and model Jessica Alba had her first foray into the world of television and film at age 13 in Camp Nowhere and The Secret World of Alex Mack.
The Californian-born beauty got her big break when she beat out 1200 other actors for a leading role in director James Cameron’s sci-fi television series Dark Angel. The series ran for two seasons, until 2002, and earned Alba a Golden Globe nomination.
While filming Dark Angel in January 2000, Alba began a three year relationship with her co-star Michael Weatherly, 12 years her senior. The couple was briefly engaged before splitting in 2003.
From here Jessica Alba appeared in films Honey, Sin City, Fantastic Four, Into the Blue and Good Luck Chuck.
In 2004, while filming Fantastic Four, Alba met her now-husband Cash Warren, son of actor Michael Warren. The two were married in 2008 and have two daughters Honor Marie Warren (born 2008) and Haven Garner Warren (born 2011).
