Tested: Purifyne Juice Cleanse

By Lisa Oxenham - Thursday 31 May 2012

Purifyne - juice diet - beauty - cleanse

The Purifyne Juice Cleanse is a great way to kick-start a summer weight-loss campaign

Wanting to kick-start my summer shape-up campaign, I’ve been following a three-day Purifyne Juice Cleanse course.

Unlike other juice diets, Purifyne looks at the whole of you, focusing not just on weight loss but also on improving circulation and skin health.

The course I chose was a series of three-a-day juices, soups and teas, accompanied by dry brushing, supplements and enema. The alkaline juices naturally eliminate toxins and restore your body’s pH balance, helping to increase metabolism and energy levels, while reducing cellulite and bloating.

The juices did help to reduce cravings and filled me up, but being allowed to eat avocados and vegetable broth was an absolute lifesaver!

By the end of the detox, I felt so much lighter and surprisingly refreshed, but it was at the cost of sporadic headaches through-out the three days as my body reacted to going toxin cold-turkey. It’s probably a detox for the weekend and I think two days would have been fine. I totally recommend it!

Plans vary between one and fourteen days, from £89.00.
