Take part in the Moonwalk London 2012 or Moonwalk Edinburgh 2012 and help raise money for ‘Walk the Walk’ - the charity dedicated to finding vital breast cancer causes.
The fundraising ‘powerwalk’ is taking place in London on 12 May and in Edinburgh on 9 June 2012 and you can take part in the Full Moon (26.2 miles) or the Half Moon (13.1 miles). Running isn’t an option (phew!) so anyone, no matter how fit, can take part.
A decorated bra is the only uniform that you’ll need to wear to mark the occasion. Once you’ve entered and paid your £50.83 (including VAT) entrance fee you’ll receive a welcome pack containing your very own bra to decorate. Then it’s time to get your girlfriends round and get out the glitter! This year’s theme is ‘Rocking around the World’ so channel your inner rock goddess and get creative.
Last year, more than 15,000 women took part and raised over six million pounds, the fabulous Jennifer Saunders and Ruby Wax were on hand to provide entertainment on the night. This year’s acts will be announced in the New Year.
Entrants are asked to raise £100 each ahead of the event (Click here for some fundraising inspiration) - and one lucky entrant will win a 14 night cruise for two.
