Q
Since having my baby a year ago, my boobs have become extremely saggy. Could a breast-lift operation restore my shape? Is it a big operation and how long does it take to recover? I’m in my mid-thirties.
Faye, London
A
A breast lift should only be considered once you’ve stopped having children. It can be combined with an implant, should you want to increase volume, but the lift will help to restore fullness. The procedure is done under general anaesthetic and can be either a day case or involve an overnight stay. Depending on the degree of reshaping required, scarring is minimal and situated around the nipple. It will take at least two weeks for the scars to heal, and up to three weeks for you to fully recover.
