Louis Vuitton's shoe designer has let us have a sneak peek at the unusual inspiration behind some of his most beautiful creations in a fun film.

The fashion film shows how fashion dolls are a central inspiration for Fabrizio Viti, the luxe brand's shoe style director.

Viti has been collecting dolls since he was three years old and has amassed 500 pieces.

As the video demonstrates, he often creates mini versions of his shoe designs to showcase on the dolls before they go into production for the catwalk shows.

The popular shoe designer Patrick Cox has collaborated with Geox to create a laid back luxe collection.

The new collaboration, which has just been launched, consists of 20 styles that blend active sportswear and city chic.

Each shoe is crafted in the finest soft leather and also features Geox's renowned 'breathing' soles - lightweight and flexible they are perfect for those busy days when you need to get around quickly but still look smart.

Available now, the collection ranges from £130 - £250.

Hollywood's A-list are reportedly clamouring to wear Victoria Beckham at the 2012 Academy Awards

With this year's Oscars less than three weeks away, Hollywood's elite are starting to finalise their red carpet choices, with one designer reportedly top of their wish list: Victoria Beckham.

It's understood that the pop star-turned-fashion designer has been bombarded with requests from actresses desperate to wear one of her chic designs at the glitzy Academy Awards ceremony at the end of February.

And in another clear sign as to how far the former Spice Girl's fashion credibility has risen, the actresses in question are all A-list Hollywood stars, with Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz among those who are believed to have contacted Victoria about wearing one of her dresses.

According to a source, Mrs B has been working around the clock in the run-up to the Oscars to meet demand, as she also puts the finishing touches to her autumn/winter 2012 collection, which will show during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, and tends to six-month-old daughter, Harper Seven.

They told the Daily Mirror: 'Victoria's been working day and night to keep up with demand.'

The British star has already seen the likes of Eva Longoria, Demi Moore and Gisele Bundhchen wearing her dresses at public events, with style icon Michelle Williams recently wearing not one, but two creations from the designer's new Victoria, Victoria Beckham sister label as the awards season hots up.

But despite all the past accolades, a turn on the Oscars red carpet would be the ultimate seal of approval. Tune into the Oscars on 26th February to find out.

Michelle Williams makes her fashion campaign debut

Actress Michelle Williams turns her hand to modelling in gorgeous retro ads for Boy by Band of Outsiders

She's been a red carpet favourite for years with a enviable sense of style that's revered around the world, but Michelle Williams has bided her time to make her fashion campaign debut.

The Oscar-nominated star took a break from filming to appear as the new poster girl for the spring/summer 2012 Boy by Band of Outsiders ads.

The images, which were shot in Los Angeles by the American label's designer Scott Sterberg, show Michelle in a series of hazy Polaroid-inspired photos as she models the latest collection.

The starlet can be seen in a series of cute poses at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in LA, including pretending to dig beside the gravestone of directing legend Alfred Hitchcock.

In other shots, Michelle is seen having a picnic as she plays with a fortune-telling ball, reading books in a library and wearing a bowler hat as she travels in a hearse along a palm tree-lined boulevard.

Michelle has long been a fan of Boy by Band of Outsiders' signature preppy aesthetic and seems a perfect fit for the brand. She follows in the footsteps of fellow actresses Kirsten Dunst and Zooey Deschanel as faces of the label, as well as Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton who modelled in the menswear autumn/winter 2011 ads.

The founders of the luxe footwear brand, Jennifer Portman and Natalia Barbieri, have created a short film to showcase their latest range.

Set to The Rapture's 'In the Grace of Your Love,' the video highlights the design duo's unusual but wearable spring/summer 2012 line.

The girls describe the collection as 'glamorously, timelessly, unashamedly feminine.'

Our faves? The burnt orange 'Belen' shoe boots with sheer panneling. With these beauties in our wardrobe we will be hot to trot come fashion week.

Michelle Williams has shown her appreciation for Victoria Beckham's latest line by wearing yet another one of her dresses to the Oscar Nominees Luncheon.

The My Week With Marilyn actress turned up at the Beverly Hilton Hotel wearing a printed Peter Pan collar dress from the Victoria by Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2012 collection.

Williams completed her look with neutral make-up hues, her elfin crop groomed to perfection and a pair of classic black heels.

It's the second time the 31-year-old has worn something by the former Spice Girl-turned-designer this awards season. She donned a scalloped black-and-ivory dress - also from Victoria's spring/summer collection - to the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills in January.

Williams' nod to the designer comes as it's been revealed that VB is working round the clock in the run up to this year's Oscars because her designs are so in demand by the A-list fashion pack.

It's been reported that the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz are all keen to wear one of her frocks on the red carpet at the 2012 Academy Awards.

With that and the fast-approaching New York Fashion Week, it seems like Posh as got her hands full!

The decadent collection, paraded on the catwalk, has been brought to life in the Gucci spring/summer 2012 campaign video.

Starring Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karmen Pedaru and Greg Newart the beautifully filmed campaign was shot in New York City.

The predominatly black and gold collection is shown in all its sumptuous glory as the models sizzle in a string of scenes for the cameras.

The brand's new face chats about the making of the spring/summer 2012 collection ad

Laura Bailey, Radley's new brand ambassador, has been talking about the making of the spring/summer 2012 campaign.

As previously reported, the model fronts Radley's latest campaign, replacing the scottie dogs which starred in the previous adverts.

Speaking about why she loves the brand, Bailey said: 'It has just the right mix of trend led and classic shapes ensuring that you look great whether you are working, traveling, playing, juggling the school run with a meeting, a dinner, whatever you might be doing with your day.'

Captured on the Camber Sand dunes in East Sussex, the campaign portrays a sunkissed Bailey strolling by the sea, even though it was shot in December.

However, the cold winter winds was all in a day's work for the model who admitted the hardest part was choosing her favourite bag to keep.

Topshop celebrates NEWGEN anniversary with charity T-shirt collection

To mark ten years of supporting the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN scheme the high street favourite has released a T-shirt collection designed by its most famous alumni

To mark ten years of supporting the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN scheme Topshop have released a T-shirt collection designed by some of its most famous alumni.

Marios Schwab, Meadham Kirchhoff, Christopher Kane, Mary Katrantzou, Roksanda Ilincic and Peter Jensen are just some of the designers who have created T-shirts for the initiative.

The tees will be sold during London Fashion Week, from the 17th - 21st February, at Topshop stores nationwide and also online.

Priced at £30 each, all profits from the sale of the T-shirts will go to Centrepoint, a charity dedicated to giving homeless young people a future.

Set up in 1993, NEWGEN is one of the world's most respected talent identification schemes, which, among other things, offers designers financial support towards their show costs and the opportunity to use the BFC Catwalk Show Space.

Designer + high-street + charity = sounds like the perfect fashion feel good recipe to us.
