Just when you thought it was safe to retreat back into fashion hibernation, after a month of back-to-back shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan, Los Angeles Fashion Week has commenced, bringing with it a whole host of new trends for the coming season.

Less experimental than the cities that precede it, LA is all about good old-fashioned glamour with plenty of red carpet-style gowns and a good smattering off Hollywood stars.

Kevan Hall kicked off proceedings yesterday, along with Suh-Tahn and Whitley Kros. However, the big draw of the week will be The Hills star Lauren Conrad's second runway collection, which shows tomorrow.
