Chloe A/W 2007
New Kid on the block: Chloe, thanks to its former designers Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo, has become a byword for coolness; the vintage-y, pretty clothes that hip, young girls want to wear. But now Chloe is in the hands of Scandinavian Paolo Melim Andersson, who has given a tougher, darker and more sophisticated spin to the house's aesthetic.
Silhouette: Andersson, known from his days at Marni, showed silk dresses and anoraks with asymmetrical zips, minis and trench coats with hand-painted, abstract-like prints, along with black kimono-style blouses and bright orange PVC minis - adding a bit of teenage rebellion to the whole mix with punky orange Doc Marten boots.
