DKNY A/W 2007

Get the look: Any shade as long as it's grey. The colour was featured on tights, preppy slouchy trousers and even berets. The only deviation from the theme? A few splashes of acid yellow and blue helped brighten up the otherwise bleak palette.

Most wanted: A berry-coloured sequin shift minidress worn, with a Bonnie & Clyde beret – very cool!

Overheard: 'Did anyone tell them grey didn't go down so well this winter already?'

Crowd concern: It was standing room only - even the top fashion editors had to elbow their way to the front for a better look at the clothes.
