Sporty, sexy chic at Roland Mouret
Everything I want to wear next season
Everything I want to wear next season
It pretty much goes without saying that Roland Mouret knows how to dress women, and more importantly, knows how women want to dress themselves.
His autumn/winter collection, shown this morning in Paris, most certainly plays by these rules.
Packed with sporty-sexy separates and some fabulous 'powermesh' minidresses, there literally wasn't an item in the collection I wouldn't want in my wardrobe at home.
With a mainly grey and black palette, mixed up with the odd magenta flash and some blue iridescent over-sized sequins on the partywear, it was sultry, sexy and very, very chic.
Key shapes included hooded coats and gillets, draped-front jackets and ski-pant trousers, all wrapped with double-length belts and stalked on some seriously covetable Christian Louboutin heels.
My favourite piece? A 'quartz tweed' jersey dress with gathered front and open back.
