The Oscars 2016 red carpet was, as ever, a glittering show of all the most beautiful gowns in the world, worn by all the very best of Tinseltown.
Cate Blanchett looked divine in a sea foam coloured Armani Privé gown, while Saoirse Ronan plumped for an emerald green Calvin Klein Collection gown, flying the flag for the Brits, Kate Winslet stunned in a dramatic sllinky black strapless gown, while model Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe looked suitably dapper in bespoke McQueen.
Meanwhile, Alicia Vikander- who bagged the Best Supporting Actress gong for The Danish Girl – opted for this sunny yellow Louis Vuitton dress with graduated hem detailing.
Best Actress winner Brie Larson looked ethereal in jewel-toned Gucci, whilst Best Actor winner (GOOOOOOO LEOOOOOOO!) looked his typically marvellous self in a Giorgio Armani tux.
