From Kylie Jenner's Puma debut to Alessandra Ambrosio's high street hit...
Oh those all-powerful celebrities. They really can sell us anything, can’t they? Or so it seems, if the latest batch of fashion advertising campaigns are anything to go by – they’re littered with famous faces aplenty.
It seems the bigger the brand, the bigger the campaign star and the bigger the budget to pull of such stunning imagery.
Jennifer Lawrence has long been the face of Dior and her biannual campaign shoots are among the most anticipated every season, while Rita Ora returns as the face of Adidas Originals for another stunning season.
High street institution Coast, meanwhile, have also caught themselves a big name for SS16, namely Victoria’s Secret Angel and all-round supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.
Emily Ratajkowski has all but stripped naked to promote Jacquie Aiche’s latest jewellery collection, while Kaia Gerber has made her modelling debut for Chrome Hearts, following in mum Cindy Crawford’s fashionable footsteps.
Calvin Klein, another brand with a big profile and a big budget, has recruited a trio of mega stars for SS16 – Kendall Jenner, Justin Bieber and FKA Twigs.
Click on to see our pick of the biggest and best celebrity advertising campaigns for the SS16 season…
First up, it’s Gwyneth Paltrow, who’s the new global charity brand ambassador for Swiss watch brand Frederique Constant.
Rihanna is fronting the campaign for her new Puma collection – and looking seriously fierce while doing so.
The first look at Rihanna’s Puma collection, Fenty, is here. The pink faux fur slides – which the star has already incorporated into her achignly cool real-life wardrobe – arrive in store on the 22nd April.
Trust J.W. Anderson to take the concept of a campaign to new levels. For SS16, the designer’s Jamie Hawkesworth-shot campaign is proof that size isn’t everything. It is in fact the size of s stamp – and can be bought from Anderson’s website for £15. So. Cool.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been announced as the gorgeous new Global Women’s Brand Ambassador for UGG, and we couldn’t love the first set of images more.
Rosie’s first official campaign will land in the autumn, but the supermodel and actress hit Soho Farmhouse for a teaser shoot.
‘It?s an honour to be partnering with a global brand that is loved as much as UGG,’ said Rosie in a statement. ‘When I started modelling one of the first things I ever purchased was a pair of Classic boots as comfort to me is everything.’
Look who’s back to the world of modelling… Only Miss Cara Delevingne herself in the new Saint Laurent La Collection De Paris campaign.
Cara was photographed for her latest campaign following her hiatus in New York in March 2016.
Cara’s relationship with Hedi Slimane goes way back as the twosome have worked together many times over the last few years.
Cara’s first campaign for Saint Laurent was in 2013, for the Saint Laurent Grunge Collection.
Rochelle delivers one of SS16’s first big swimwear campaigns for the high street, striking a pose for e-tailer Very in the collection she whipped up for the retailer.
She’s giving us a lesson in the new season’s bikini trends, plus how to work a cool cover-up for the summer ahead.
Clearly shot somewhere exotic (well she’s not on Southend beach, is she?) we bet the presenter had a pretty fabulous time shooting this campaign.
Rita returns for a second season as the face of sportswear giants Adidas Originals.
Whipping it like a pro, she’s showing us that sportswear and athleisure are actually two of SS16’s chicest trends.
Mango asked supermodel Karlie Kloss to front their SS16 campaign.
Modelling the ‘New Metallics’ collection, Karlie works it in soft silver slips and chainmail-like knits alike.
What to style with your new silver wares? Denim, says Karlie Kloss in the new Mango campaign.
Kate Moss proves that she’s still got it, teaming up with Daria Werbowy for this stunning Equipment campaign.
It’s all about the brand’s shirts, as demonstrated in the arty concept images.
Mossy and Werbowy are clearly a dream team in front of and behind the camera.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra makes her debut for high street giant Coast – and we love the cool campaign imagery.
AA is giving us all the wedding outfit ideas we could ever have asked for in the new Coast campaign.
It’s the first time the supermodel has worked with the occasionwear retailer – and with such gorgeous pictures we bet it won’t be her last stint.
Seriously, is it wedding season yet?
Emily Ratajkowski is fronting (literally) the new campaign for jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche.
Kylie Jenner was announced as the new face of Puma in March 2015, marking a brand new partnership with the sportswear giant.
Kylie is working it, literally, in the new images.
