The BAFTA Awards 2016 red carpet officially got underway on the most romantic of days, Valentine’s Day.
Managing to evade the usual British downpour of rain on the night, the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden played (albeit a very chilly) host to the great and the good of Hollywood as they turned out to support their respective films at the biggest and glitziest night in the British cinematic calendar.
And although we’re excited about those well-deserved awards being dished out, we’re equally as excited about the pre-ceremony red carpet action, too.
From beautifully crafted designer gowns, to super-stylish, bang-on-trend red carpet fare (Alicia Vikander in full-length laser-cut Louis Vuitton, we’re looking at you) to slick tuxedos (you’ll want to check out Michael Fassbender and John Boyega’s numbers) and everything in between – we’ve got all the very best snaps from the night.
