Celine A/W 2007

Sensual luxury: Taking inspiration from French writer Francoise Sagan's novel Unmade Bed, Celine's Ivana Omazic brought to life a heroine who is 'sensual, violent and libertine'. Cue here all those cinched waists, the thick mohair knits, ankle boots, sporty caps and driving gloves. Other luxurious classic pieces included grey flannel dresses, fitted croc leather jackets, A-line coats and beautifully-made trousers. Colour came in the form of satin coats in bright green, floaty dresses with exuberant flower prints and satin pencil-skirts in grey, red and yellow. All in all it was a showcase of effortless French chic.
