Ben De Lisi A/W 2007

The look: Eastern inspired decadence. The sleek lines were decidedly Eighties with a girly prom twist. Easy swept-up hair, tied in loose, braided chignons kept it youthful.

The pieces: A mix of strapless cocktail numbers, elegant coats and long sleeved sack dresses with shimmering details. The dramatic floor-length gowns which epitomise Ben de Lisi glamour were in full force.

Flashback favourite: A strapless cocktail number, with flirty tiered bubble skirt and empire waist, in black and metallic magenta is just what Molly Ringwald would have ordered.
