Erdem A/W 2007
Feminine fare: With marked inspiration from Paris in the Thirties, the collection was full of exquisite lace, tiered in scrumptious layers. Not overtly girly, but mature and sophisticated, without a doily moment in sight.
Metamorphosis: A butterfly motif was worked into the prints on dresses, billowing blouses and velvety coats. The drop-waist silken mini was a favourite.
Top it off: The house milliner Noel Stewart's delicate constructions are sure winners for an autumn wedding.
Get it now: The Mackintosh/Erdem capsule range. Good old fashioned camel Macs, created with the designer's signature feminine cuts and detailing.
