Vera Wang A/W 2007
The front row: Plum Sykes and Camilla Belle.
The inspiration: Early 20th century Russia, complete with a curious
mention of Bolsheviks.
Romantically inclined: Best known for her wedding dresses, Vera Wang
maintained a romantic outlook in ready-to-wear. But the artistic and
moody designs set the line apart.
Work of art: Unique styling of luxurious layers, thin shearling
wrapped around like Babushkas, and gloves reaching the upper arm
resulted in masterful creations.
Painted lady: Blackberry stained pouts or darkened eyebrows completed the look. One at a time only please.
