The month of fashion has kicked off in NYFW. Our Fashion Features Director Victoria Moss reveals what she thinks we'll all be tweeting and Instagramming about, from the fashpack trends to Cara's party antics... #CAN'T.WAIT.

1. #StreetStyle The crowds gathering outside every show venue hoping for Scott ‘The Sartorialist’ Shuman to march them off to a quiet well-lit corner to be snapped, are a can’t-look-away vision of chic, perfectly put-together outfits mashed up with looks which violently scream ‘INCOMING TASTE CRISIS.’ The latter are of course, vastly more entertaining. Bring on the frock horrors.

2. #AnniversaryShows In New York, DKNY will celebrate a whopping 25 years while over at Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa has racked up ten years overseeing the super brand. We expect some big fat fashion fun on the catwalk and big fabulous parties to strut our stuff at later on.   3. #HarperBeckhamVSAlaiaWang We shall be scouring the streets of NYC for our two favourite mini fashionistas. Will Harper be rocking her darling Parisian princess ensembles? Will Alaia Wang wear anything but black? Who can resist a toddler making a style statement? Not us.   4. #CaraDelevingne If fashion week is the Olympics of the style set, Cara D is Usain Bolt. How many shows will she walk in? Will she be out partying with Rihanna? Does she have a new onsie? Has she read Alexa’s book? SO MANY QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED. 5. #TheHotLondonTriumverate Having cemented their status as ‘the ones you really, really, really need to watch for’ last season, we are all super-keen to see what Simone Rocha, Thomas Tait and J W Anderson have in store for SS14. 6. #SetWars We adore a fabulous OTT set. The ones which always throw us a curveball are Marc Jacobs, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. What will they do next? Make sure to check out their live streams so you don’t miss out. Can Karl top a giant mega-globe emblazoned with mini Chanel flags? We hope so. 7. #LucasNascimento We have a major luxury crush on this hot Brazilian. His refined, elegant aesthetic is doing all kinds of right – it’s no wonder he’s been scooped up by matchesfashion.com and Dover Street Market. He will show his first on schedule collection in London. Note it. Tweet it. 8. #PopUpPurchasing In New York, Opening Ceremony are curating a rather jaunty sounding pop-up market on the Super Pier on the Hudson river. Not only can you snap up the cult label’s own product, but treats from DKNY, Rihanna for River Island amongst others plus they’ll be yummy foodie treats from the man who invented the Cronut. Pretty Tempting. Then in London, the BFC (British Fashion Council) have curated a store ‘The Shop’ at Somerset House featuring pieces from House of Holland, Bella Freud, Sophia Webster and Dominic Jones to name a few – plus they have all sorts of secret goings on and guest appearances lined up. Who needs a show ticket? We’re off shopping. 9. #Everyone'sWearingTrainers By far our favourite ever trend is about to come TOTALLY into its own. Sometimes we have to scoot around 12 hours of solid shows (we know, it’s a chore). This time, we’re going to be in our Nike Air Max. THANK YOU, FASHION GODS.

10. #MarieClaire25 LFW will be going out with a serious bang, because frankly, we’re in charge of the fireworks. It’s our big fat 25th birthday party and we'll be dancing our feet raw before scooping ourselves up and getting on the first plane out to Milan the next morning. We know, but someone’s gotta do it. Obviously we’ll report back with all the gossip...
